Twitter hashtags were created organically by Twitter users as a way to categorize messages. You use the hash symbol (#) to mark keywords or topics in your Tweet so that people searching for those keywords can easily find it. You must not spam with hashtags, so avoid placing more than two in a single tweet. You can tag any part of the tweet and can even tag links. If you click on a tag, you will see a list of tweets in that category.
