If you regularly use Outlook Calendar feature for your business, losing this data would significantly impede your productivity. To protect against unforeseen problems, consider backing up the calendar by exporting its data to a text file. Using a text file offers the additional benefit of cross-program compatibility so you can import your data into other programs or computers. However, text files do not support recurring appointments, so Outlook automatically creates individual appointments for recurring events that fall within a specified date range.
